As part of the British Heart Foundation's campaign to 'Restart a Heart' our Year 8 pupils were off timetable all day on Wednesday 16th October learning about how to save a life.
To help give publicity for the event, BBC Radio Solent sent reporter Dominic Blake from the Julian Clegg show to interview two of our pupils, Jamie and Lillie and our own Mr Jackson.
This training can be the difference between life and death, and Mayfield is proud to have trained over 2,000 people in CPR over the last few years. Last year we also raised the funds to have a defibrillator attached next to the main entrance to help support our community.
