Pudsey visits Mayfield
Pupils and staff of Mayfield School were delighted to welcome ‘Pudsey’ from Children in Need. He spent an hour walking around the school and help contribute a record breaking £2150. Well done to all involved.
Primary Section
The children in the Primary section have had a ‘spot-tacular’ day raising money for Children in Need. Our school council and Miss Beech have organised a cake sale, spell-athon and spotty pyjama non-school uniform day. Max in Year 2 said ‘Children in Need is really important as some children aren’t as lucky as us, it’s important that we try to make their lives better.’ Coco (Year3) added ‘We’ve ‘spotted’ the whole school!’
We have had a tremendously fun time and raised more than £1000! Well done everyone, you truly are superstars!
